I've been sitting in the garden for long periods of time in the name of "photography practice." I think the wildlife out there is seriously annoyed. Apparently no living creatures like have a camera pointed at them... This grasshopper(?) kept trying to avoid eye contact. but its bright coloring and decision to rest in a blooming rose made it a beautiful subject anyway.
